How create Outlook Account
Outlook is one of the most popular email services in the world. Free, light, easy to use; is maybe the best choice for someone who is just starting on the internet and need an email account “For beginners”, although a lot of people actually don’t have an Outlook account because they think creating one is hard and difficult, but if you follow these steps it shouldn’t take you more than 5 minutes, let’s go.
- Go to hotmail.com or outlook.com, you’ll see a form for login, as you still don’t have an account scroll down until you see a “Create account/Register now” link and click on it.
- A new page will open and you will see a big form you must fill in order to continue, don’t worry; it’s just basic information about yourself. It will ask for your name, your last name, a new username, a password, your country or region, your birth date and your gender; your phone will also be asked, but it’s not mandatory.
- Fill the captcha, accept the Microsoft Terms and Conditions and press “Create account”, and you’re done, your Outlook account it’s ready to use, after hitting the button you will be redirected to your inbox/main page.
At the time of writing your user name you can chose if it’ll end in “@outlook.com” or “@hotmail.com”, in some countries like Mexico or Chile (And some others Latam countries) you can also chose “@live.com”. Now in your home page you can see your inbox, send emails, use Skype, edit office files or check the calendar. If you want add your phone number to your account as an extra security method or just want to modify some of your data, you can do it by clicking the settings icon in the top right corner, then open “Account options”.
